Musicians & Celebs I've Met.

Over the years I've met quite a number of musician's and celebrities, several dozen. Unfortunately, most of those pictures were on film, not digital, and have either been long lost, or not scanned and transfered to a digital file. Someday I might get off my ass and take care of that but for the time being I'll just post a few until I get motivated to upgrade this page.

A huge night for Michelle & I. BB King at the Tall Stacks Concert in 2003. BB shook my hand and gave me his show guitar pic, and then gave Michelle his necklace

A favorite on mine and one that I've had the pleasure of playing with about a dozen times over the years at a few of his local jams, Sonny Moorman

And easily the most flamboyant,  Little Richard

What an incredible day it is when you can be walking around the stage when all of a sudden Slash of Guns N Roses & Velvet Revolver shows up.

Slash sound checking in the afternoon (above), and then at the show later that night (below).

A good friend of ours is Steve Conte of The New York Dolls, A Company of Wolves, and a studio favorite of Yoko Kanno (a Japanese J-pop and anime composer that michelle & I both love). We've run into Steve numerious times now and have long been on a first name basis with each other.

Henry Juszkiewicz, CEO & Owner of Gibson Guitars, and ya'all know how I feel about Gibson Guitars!!!

Anthony Steele, New York Session Player.
Anthony is a great guy and just as great guitar player. I've been very fortunate to meet Anthony and become friends with him. Neither the 2007 or 2008 jams would have been as successful and smooth without his great help and great guitar playing.

The above two were taken at the Gibson Jam in 2007

Now in 2008, also at the Gibson Jam in Nashville. Here Anthony is using my handwired Vox AC30-H2

Anthony playing with Jack Pearson, ex. of the Allman Brothers band, who I also got to meet.

Larry Carlton, of Steely Dan and master of the  ES-335.

At the 2008 jam I met Chicago blues master Larry McCray. Here he is using my '57 RI Goldtop
